Development Action Society (DAS) is a community-based development organization committed to transforming the lives of underserved communities in both urban and rural areas. With a people-centric approach, DAS works across key sectors such as education, skill development, child protection, WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene), and women’s empowerment.
Rooted in grassroots realities, DAS designs and implements need-based welfare projects that address the specific challenges faced by vulnerable populations. By focusing on sustainable and inclusive development, the organization aims to build safer, healthier, and more empowered communities, where every individual—especially women and children—can live with dignity, security, and opportunity.
Our mission is to empower women, children and youth to realize their rights and access resources, through quality interventions in education, health and livelihood, so that they are enabled to transform their communities.
We believe in a world where every human being enjoys equal rights and opportunities in order to lead a healthy and creative life with dignity and self respect.
