Our Programs

DAS currently reaches over 1,15,800 people with its programs under Education, Child Protection, Public Health, Water Sanitation Hygiene (WASH), Livelihood and Women Empowerment.

During 2020-21 DAS had to adopt new ways to support the marginalised communities due to COVID-19 as well as the Cyclones Amphan and Yash that disrupted people’s lives. DAS worked with its supporters to supply Dry ration to fight food scarcity in all of its locations. We coordinated relief support to cyclone-hit areas. We promoted online and offline education reaching as many children as possible. Conducted several health check-ups camps. We are continuously monitoring children and their needs in terms of food supplies, education, health and sanitation and mobilising resources to support them

We need your support now more than ever before so that we do not lose the change we have brought over the years. And so that the years of efforts put in by the children and these communities to alleviate themselves do not go in vain. Today:

  • More than 450 Children need support in staying in school
  • 12,000 people need support for their health conditions
  • More than 1,500 families need support as there is no earning member due to jobs lost
  • All our entrepreneurs need support

For this, we need your support. Without our donors, volunteers and well-wishers, we can only get that far.
